What is cryosauna?


This is the opposition of traditional sauna, as it exposes the body to temperatures between -120°C and -170°C for a very short time (1 to 3 minutes). Temperature decreases from -20°C to even as low as -170°C in roughly 30 seconds, then the temperature reached stays the same for the desired time. Duration of a therapy is 60 to 180 seconds. The complete therapy consists of 10-20 or even more sessions.

In spite of the extremely low temperature, our body does not freeze, because the cold therapy box has very dry air. In humid air, this temperature would indeed be unbearable for the human body. The unique technology of cryosauna allows for people to comfortably tolerate the low temperature for a short time and enjoy all of its benefits. The cold sensed during the procedure is bearable and is much less unpleasant than taking a bath in cold water.
